Dear Natasha,

Baby, the first thing I need to know from you is do you believe I killed my father?  I need to know if you believe what everybody saying about me because I need to know if you got my back.  Right now I don't know who in my corner and who ain't.

(This excerpt appears on page 4 of Upstate, written by Kalisha Buckhanon, 2005)

Antonio is in prison, Natasha is not, but they're in love.  They've been torn apart but are determined to remain faithful to each other by writing letters.

They write letters for ten years, and every letter appears for you to read in Upstate.  You get to see their love, perspective, writing, faith, and hearts change as they do.

Here is an audio clip from Upstate.  It covers Antonio's first letter to Natasha.
